How to Update the R36S Firmware
Updating the R36S firmware is a simple process and can be done directly from the device as long as Wi‑Fi is available. Keeping your firmware up to date helps improve stability, performance, and overall system reliability.
Before starting, make sure your R36S is fully charged. A firmware update can take some time, and powering off during the process may cause system issues. It’s also strongly recommended to back up your games and save files beforehand, just in case something goes wrong.
To begin, power on your R36S and go to Options from the main menu. From there, select Wi‑Fi settings and connect the console to a wireless network. Once connected successfully, return to the Options menu. wifi dongle needed buy here
Scroll down until you find the Update option. Select it and start the update process. The system will automatically download and install the latest firmware. This process usually takes 10 to 15 minutes, depending on your internet speed.
During the update, do not turn off the console or press any buttons. Let the update complete fully. Once finished, the R36S may reboot automatically.
After the update, you can return to your games and settings as normal. Regular firmware updates ensure your R36S continues to run smoothly and delivers the best possible retro gaming experience.
